Commissioner Angela Powell

At the April 8, 2026, Oakland County Commission meeting, Commissioner Powell made the motion to move public comment to the end of the meeting. She voted yes on "Project Prove-It" for Flock surveillance drones and then left during public comment. At a budget meeting with the Sheriff later in 2026, Commissioner Powell urged him to confirm that Oakland County doesn't have "Flock anything," despite the fact that she herself had voted for Flock.
