Commissioner Gwen Markham

Gwen Markham is a Democrat who represents District 15. District 15 includes Novi Township, the entire portion of the City of Northville within Oakland County, and portions of the cities of Farmington Hills and Novi. At the April 8, 2026, Oakland County Commission meeting, Commissioner Markham voted to move public comment to the end of the meeting. She also voted in support of "Project Prove-It" for Flock surveillance drones. Commissioner Markham has also been observed leaving commission meetings before or during the second public comment opportunity, notably saying that it was "a waste of my time" at the October 2026 meeting.
