At the April 8, 2026, Oakland County Commission meeting, Commissioner Miller voted to move public comment to the end of the meeting. He also voted yes on "Project Prove-It" for Flock surveillance drones. At a meeting later in 2026, Commissioner Miller expressed support for surveillance technology because "if it saves even one person from being trafficked that's worth it." When members of the audience booed, Commissioner Miller said, "So that means you want people to be trafficked."
